Your own little forest, with Onno

On December 27, my siblings and I decided to take a stroll in the city; from boutiques to boutiques we stumbled upon Onno, and what a pleasant discovery it was.
What is Onno ?
Managed by two friends, passionate about plants and green Onno is a terrarium boutique filled with warmth and nature. Talking with the owners, I learned that the goal behind Onno was to provide you a bit of nature that won't die if you forget to water it. Plants grown in terrarium, don't need that much "care", and only need to be watered a few times in the year.
The owners were kind enough to answer all our questions, and were more than happy to do so, explaining us the whole process of how a terrarium is made. The glass they use for the terrariums is recycled, and the plants they use are not treated; they also told us that they worked on designing the boutique themselves and partner with other independent little boutique for the decoration.
As an ephemeral boutique, you can still find Onno's terrariums, in partner boutique such as Hyppairs (https://raihanez.wixsite.com/fromrtoz/blog/hyppairs-the-coffee-shop-lyon-needed).
They also, partner with other independent boutiques in Lyon to offer terrariums ateliers, where you can create your own little glass forest; prices range from 80€ to 60€, and to be honest it's absolutely not expensive knowing that kits sold on the internet range from 100€ and above. I love the idea of ateliers where you can learn about terrariums and plants, and just express your creativity and take it home with you !
Concept stores are popping out a little bit everywhere in Lyon and stores like Onno just make you want to open your own ! I loved talking and sharing with the owners, make sure to check their very aesthetically pleasing Instagram and website for more informations !
