Yoon Anh and Nike sounds like the perfect love story between two brands constantly trying to redefine what lifestyle means, and what brought them together is that need to include comfort and practicability in fashion. It was an agreeable surprise to see that the big swoosh decided to collaborate with the co founder of Ambush, and their love child looks like everything you would expect from the fashion visionary that is Yoon Anh.

Born in Korea, raised in America, and now living between Tokyo and Paris, the jewelry designer grew up surrounded by street culture, "molding" her vision and the way she approaches the craft of design. In 2008, she launched Ambush a high-end streetwear brand alongside with rapper husband Verbal, and both have been growing ever since.

From collaborating with Louis Vuitton, Sacai, Undercover, Mykita, Beats by Dre and Shu Uemura, and her consecration as head of jewelry for Dior Men (that we're still heavily applauding), this collaboration with Nike feels almost natural.

Let's be honest, Nike was falling behind on the streetwear trend that swooshed the whole fashion scene. We've seen major collaboration with Adidas, Puma, Fila & Champion and yet the giant of sportswear was nowhere to be seen. But this collaboration is exactly what the brand needed, the perfect ambush ;), to remind everyone who's the boss. It was unexpected but Yoon Ahn, along side Nike really want to push sportswear as a lifestyle and not something reserved to athletes. And that's what the whole capsule collection is about: flexibility, through style and comfort.

The unisex collection includes, two coats, a reversible jacket, a luxurious faux fur jacket alongside DRI-FIT Stretch bodysuit, crop-top and fleece pants.

Dear Nike, we (or at least I) want to see more of that, there's plenty of young an talented designers out there waiting for you to make them the very next Virgil Abloh, or Danielle Cathari. We all know you're the number one in the sneaker game, please be number one in sportswear too.

Faithfully yours, a loving fan of the swoosh.
